Colts

Because of the two centre nature of the Club there are effectively two separate Colts Sections, one based at Chiswick House and the other based at Whitton.

At Chiswick, we run Under 11, 13 and 15 teams in the Middlesex South Area League.

At Whitton, we run Under 11, 13 and 15 teams in the Middlesex West Area League.

We enter a team at Under 17 or Under 19 level in the Middlesex Federation Youth League.

We also run Indoor League teams in the Winter, at Under 11, 13 and 15 which play under the umbrella of the South Area.

Between the two sites we have close on 150 Colts which means we need lots of help with Coaching, Transport to away games, Scorers and Umpires, and all the other things that go to running a Colts section. Please help in whatever way you can. There is a Helpers course in January for those who would like to get involved with Coaching the young ones.

The Colts are becoming a force to be reckoned with, especially at U11 and U13 level where we have enjoyed considerable success in the South Area. In 2005 the Whitton U15 side won their Division. To date four of our youngsters have played with Middlesex squads at U9,10,11,12 and 13, and at least another 6 have represented London Schools at similar ages.

We need to sustain the momentum by continuing to recruit at age 7 or 8+ to ensure a steady supply of cricketers through the age groups and hopefully into the Senior teams. Once again, please help where you can.
